Health Map
Health Map platform development case study
Project developed with the objective of providing the population with a visual and interactive tool to locate health centers and pharmacies near their location. The platform offers an intuitive map that shows the geographical distribution of health services, allowing users to quickly identify available options in their area, compare distances and obtain relevant information about each establishment, thus improving access to health services and optimizing decision-making in situations requiring medical attention.

Problem
The identified problem was the difficulty faced by the population in efficiently locating health centers and pharmacies available in their environment. Information about these establishments was usually scattered, outdated or presented in an inaccessible way, which complicated timely access to medical services and medications, especially in emergency situations. Additionally, the lack of clear visualization of the health ecosystem made it difficult for people to adequately plan their medical care options and know the diversity of health resources at their disposal.
Solution
The developed solution was an interactive web platform that integrates geolocation and mapping technologies to visually show the location of health centers and pharmacies. This tool allows users to quickly locate health establishments near their current location, filter by type of service, operating hours and available specialties. The platform also provides detailed information about each establishment, such as contact information, schedules, services offered and ratings from other users. This comprehensive visualization of the health ecosystem empowers the population to make informed decisions about where and how to access the medical services they need, thus improving efficiency in the use of available health resources.
